I have had two treatments now, an amazing and much needed facial and removal of a growth under my eye. I attended the Egham clinic to request for CO2 laser. I wanted a treatment that can lighten the corners of my mouth (dark pigmentation). Though the clinic advisor advised I do the whole face. At first I said no, as I have good skin and don’t need it m, I only want to focus of fixating the corner of the mouth. We agreed then I asked if the clinic had a treatment to get rid of fat under the chin. The clinic advisor re-advised I do the CO2 for full face and neck. I asked if there are any other recommendations, she again advised CO2 laser. I trusted her and agreed. I came to the appointment whereby I had the CO2 laser done but, it was the most painful thing I’ve ever done. After lasering the face, I said I can’t handle the pain and don’t want to do the neck. When I arrived home. I realised the advisor didn’t complete the CO2 laser on my face, left out the bottom of the chin and under the chin. Mind you, I paid for full face laser. I sent over the pictures to the clinic as to why was this part missed? I received a call from Monica, she advised that she will complete the CO2 laser on my face by me attending on the next working day. I agreed but, on the day of the appointment I changed my mind so I cancelled. I messaged the clinic saying I can’t handle the pain and didn’t want to complete the CO2 laser. Monic called me right away advising I come to the clinic though I didn’t like her approach at all. She was asking me why is the CO2 painful? I don’t understand how I could have answered that? Then Monica advised other treatments that she would like to recommend to me but I was upset at the fact that I paid for full face and didn’t have it completed on the day, why would I trust the clinic with another treatment? Also if other treatments were better, why not advise me in the first place rather than processing with CO2 laser? Monica was very very pushy. She said she set up the room and was waiting for me. I apologised for not attending and that I can’t bare the pain. She replied it’s not that painful, that I’m the only one saying this, but her colleague also is aware how painful CO2 laser is. Monica again said, that she is waiting for me personally and said I’m only trying to help but I didn’t ask for help? I’m already disappointed. I genuinely started to feel uncomfortable of the pushy like behaviour. I didn’t ask for more treatments form the clinic? This CO2 treatment should have been completed with my full face as I paid for it and it should work for the pigmentation so why recommend me more procedures?
